Chef Dan Kluger, recently named , 2012 Food & Wine magazine Top 10 Chefs in America - is coming to Bellingham! For one night, and one meal only, he will prepare a signature multi-course menu sourced from our local food-shed and harvested from our favorite farmers fields!
During Mataio’s visit to New York City last spring, all the chefs he met pointed him toward ABC Kitchen as a “must visit” restaurant. Mataio booked his reservation, looking forward to a delicious, organic meal at this James Beard Award-Winning restaurant. When he arrived, he simply could not choose from the menu and instead, asked if the chef would choose his favorites for him. Nineteen courses later, Mataio was satiated, both inspirationally and literally. Chef Dan Kluger came out to introduce himself and check on Mataio’s dining experience, and they struck up a conversation.
