In this two-hour demo-style class, guest chef Rachel Saunders takes you through the marmalade-making process from start to finish. She will cook two different marmalades, one single-fruit and one multi-fruit. Her focus will be on the preparation of the raw fruit, the traditional 3-day marmalade process, and how to jar your marmalade. She will examine key topics such as the role of sugar, the stages of cooking, and how to test the marmalade accurately for doneness. The class includes a marmalade tasting and you will receive two jars of marmalade to take home!
